Request a Professional ReviewInitial inquiries are for scope, availability and conflict screening. Omit patient names and confidential case materials.
Standard of care, causation and the medical evidence
A review examines the clinical chronology, treatment decisions, surgical course and documented outcome. Standard-of-care and causation analysis are addressed when appropriate to the retained question and expertise.
EUC works with plaintiff and defense counsel. Review considers supporting and conflicting evidence, missing documentation and the limits of a medical conclusion. Neither retention nor testimony guarantees a favorable opinion or legal outcome.
Services for the legal team
- Initial merit and medical-record review
- Focused medical research and clinical issue analysis
- Written opinions, reports and appropriate certificates or affidavits of merit
- Consultation with counsel, deposition and expert testimony when retained
Areas for scope review include kidney stones and endourologic surgery, urologic emergencies, prostate and bladder care, men’s health and surgical complications. Qualification for a particular proceeding and issue must be evaluated by retaining counsel.
What to include in an initial inquiry
State your firm or organization, the general urologic issue, the requested role (consulting review, report or testimony), and the relevant deadline. Counsel should identify the proceeding’s qualification and disclosure requirements before retention.
After conflict screening, the agreed review may involve the clinical chronology, office and hospital records, operative reports, relevant test results and prior expert materials. The retaining party supplies the materials needed for the assignment; additional record collection is undertaken only if separately agreed.
Keep party names, records and confidential case details out of the public form. EUC arranges the appropriate exchange separately.
Qualifications and engagement
Dr. Wille trained at the University of Chicago, is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His clinical practice, academic work and scholarship provide context for his expertise.

Begin with a general inquiry containing your organization, the review requested and deadline. Records are transferred separately after conflict screening and engagement arrangements.
Patient-side insurance denial?
Patients and families use Patient Appeals and its separate screening process. That service provides medical review and administrative appeal support, not legal representation.
